I’m glad you linked back to this; I hadn’t seen it before. When we first moved to the city, we shared a bathroom with three other families (two of them related to us), and I recall waiting at the door, getting more desperate all the time, while my cousin Alice sat on the commode and sang. She had a constipation problem, and the doctor had told her to always take her time in the bathroom.

The toilet seats hanging on the wall , without the explanaton you gave would have been a real mystery, makes perfect sense though. I officially resolve to never bitch about my apartment again. Thanks for sharing, now light a match or something.
