Perfection attained

February 22nd, 2008 · 5 Comments

img00108.jpgLeaving behind “new and improved”, “now with real meat”, “better tasting” and many other incremental improvements Hillshire Farms finally achieved the “best taste ever” leaving us nothing to look forward to and anticipate. I wonder who was the judge of the taste and did that person have a chance to try all the previous and future incarnations of the kielbasa sausage product. We were yearning for change, we were starved for hope and now someone wants to tell us that this is it? No way! Yes we can … make a better tasting sausage! Yes we can…

Best taste ever
Nothing more to perfect
It must be delicious

P.S. Since I have trouble counting syllables it’s hard for me to write haiku’ s; nothing prevents me, however, from writing fake haiku’s or as I call them “faiku’s”

The extra syllables in the last line made up for the missing ones in the previous two

Slice sausage into bite sized pieces. Add to fairly good sized pot. Add raw red potatoes (sliced or cut up into bite sized pieces), red kidney beans, chopped onions, and a couple cans of tomato sauce. Cook over low to med heat till potatoes done - bout 30-45 minutes. Stir pot once in a while so potatoes don’t stick to the bottom. The amount of ingredients you add to the pot is simply based on what you want the ratio to be.
    Try it…good stuff.

Oh…and add seasonings to taste. I like seasoned salt, coarse pepper and a bit of garlic.
