If a blogger speaks on the radio and no one is around to hear him, does he make a sound?

March 19th, 2008 · 5 Comments

Every time I read TKC advertising his radio chats on 980 KMBZ I felt bad that I had to miss his trademark mix of jokes, irony and knowledge of the local blogs (sans the pictures) because I had to do something he doesn’t - be at work. Today was my lucky day, I was off and tuned my brand new laptop to the right station at the right time and waited with anticipation:maybe, just maybe, I will get a mention, which normally leads to overloading of the webhost, multiple emails from beautiful women and book deals.

Тhat was it? 30 seconds? Really? That’s all you cоuld do?
Disappointing, Tony, very disappointing.

In Tony’s defense, I don’t really think it’s his fault. It’s the format of that radio show. Whenever I’ve tried to listen, everything was packaged into a 30-45 second sound bite.

Talk about Short Attention Span Theater!

I find it so annoying that I just turn off the radio and put on the iPod.

Yeah…it really depends on how much time they give him.

Eventually he will be able to string like 20 of them and make a podcast :) that would be neat.

I feel your pain Meesha. I caught myself listening to it just to hear my made up name mentioned. Then I realized it was much the same as when I was a kid and would watch the Whizzo Show on my birthday to hear my name mentioned . Turns out neither of those clowns ever mentioned my name.

I agree. They have kind of jacked Tony of late. I didn’t catch this week, but after the Darla incident a few weeks ago, it seems like they’ve been pimping him out.
