After the Iron Curtain:Red Army Choir

Red Army Choir provided for years the official soundtrack of the Soviet Union. The Choir Performed military and patriotic songs, folk songs and dances, many of which became iconic during the Soviet era. Unlike many other remnants of that time Red Army Choir not only survived but even gained international popularity by collaborating with other famous artists and developing a sense of humor.

    I know about red elvises, if I want to hear russian accent, I’ll talk to myself. :-)

    Mostly I was thinking of the odd combination of American rock & roll with the bass balalaika and the flamboyance of the Leningrad Cowboys (who I find to be conceptually-similar).
