Bloggers are Not (Wheel)Huggers

My unscientific poll showed that I have at least 16 readers who are willing to click if such an option is presented to them and no one will admit to sitting too close to the steering wheel. This and future poll results will be displayed on the brand new page on this blog. Thanks for voting.

  • I always thought of you more as a nut hugger

  • Years ago, I was witness to an accident on a twisty road in San Pedro, CA. After I received help from the police officer that arrived on the scene with the moving of my vehicle from where I had parked it (I pulled into a driveway right next to the spot where a car had flipped over and slid into a fire hydrant and then into a power pole…there was water everywhere, and a power line had dropped into it, so the water was charged with electricity. I managed to get out of my car before the water flowed downhill towards it, but by the time I needed to leave, my car was in a free-flowing path of electrically charged water. The cop hopped in and moved my car for me…), he got out and said I was sitting too close to the wheel. Ever since then, I make sure I’m far enough back to not be killed by my airbag should it be deployed. But I can’t sit all the way back or else my feet wouldn’t reach the pedals.

Your poll didn’t really have a response that covered all that, so yeah, had to choose the middle option, personally.
