Some of you may be sitting by your mailboxes right now, wiping off sweat and waiting for the fabulous magazine subscription you have won participating in one of the “Caption This” contests I run on this blog. During the last contest I received an email from Mark at Rasterjam.com suggesting that I try out their website which is dedicated exactly to the purpose of running “Creative Contests”. Please note that I am not affiliated with their site and they are not even buying me a beer for my efforts, so if you decide to participate please do so at your own risk. I tested it on my laptop and did not notice any suspicious activity etc. and I have no reason to think that they have some malicious purpose. If you do decide to participate, it seems to provide more creative opportunities to unleash your inner captioneer. To make it interesting and to coincide with the beginning of the football season I am upping the ante with the most awesome prize ever awarded: Brand New, NFL-licensed, in the Original Packaging (with a sticker $40) Kansas City Chiefs Red Critical Victory Hoodie Sweatshirt. The size is XL (I think, I am not unpacking it to look). This sweatshirt will look good and gay on you, or even better on your girlfriend, if that is all she is wearing. It will show that you are man enough to wear red and that you didn’t jump off the bandwagon no matter that the bandwagon is not going anywhere. If you are neither of these things and don’t have a girlfriend who prances around in sweatshirts, this could kick-start your Christmas shopping. Any way you look at it, you just have to participate. What are you waiting for? I am pretty sure you have to click “View Entries” and then on “Create your own entry”.
Put a RasterJam contest on your blog or webpage! Your picture, your readers - a fun, free and easy way to build content and linkbacks. Learn more about hosting your own contest today.
Some fine print:
- I will not be spending money, time and effort on mailing the prize to you. You probably have to be in or around Kansas City Metro Area.
- I am available around downtown area during the day and in Johnson County after work and when I am off to deliver the prize. Figure it out.
- I am the sole decider of who won and I will probably disregard the rating system on the website, but go ahead and rate the entries anyway.
- I will not be taking complaints about the prize, and the future performance of the KC Chiefs. As a matter of fact, for all the football talk please go here.
- Please, please be a woman this time.
- In case of technical difficulties please let me know and I will relate your concerns to Mark with Rasterjam.com.
