		<description>I always found it very interesting to speak with the older people who were born into the Soviet Union and viewed it as &quot;the good old days&quot;. 

Because so many of them lost their pensions in the transition from communism, I can&#039;t really blame them for being nostalgic for the way things were.

Though to temper that statement, I never heard anyone say anything positive about the Stalin years except that the Nazis were defeated. It seems to me that &quot;the good old days&quot; refers to Khruschev onwards.</description>
