Remember the movie Weird Science were two nerds create a woman of their dreams? I received an email from a reader and a local photographer with a real-life photo of the girl whose picture you see on the top left of this site, the face of the Pitch’s Best of Kansas City 2008.
I am not sure what happened first – did the geeks at Pitch draw the picture of а girl and then materialized her by hacking into a government supercomputer during a storm, or it happened the other way around; I wasn’t invited to the party so I could investigate.

nice pic. i might also mention that the red haired girl has a design that is/was the corporate logo for Led Zep’s Swan Song music label. a bunch of their vinyl has this same logo on them. Also, Bad Company also used this design on their vinyl from the 70’s as they were signed to Swan Song.
