The Jewish Holiday of Hanukkah starts tonight and I am sure many of you will be lighting you Menorahs when the sun goes down this evening. When I was searching for something fun and unusual to post, my usual places such as Life Magazine Photo Archives came up empty, and I didn’t want to post another boring photo of candles burning, so I will share a children’s book about traditional Hanukkah potato pancakes - latkes (locally latkes are available at The D’Bronx Deli):

Never let it be said I don’t respect all manner of holidays: Today I went to Menorah Medical Center to have my mammies grammed. Just, you know, to celebrate the holiday. That does count, right? Menorah?

I may be a little late, but Happy Hanukkah to you and wishes for a fantastic New Year !
